I didn’t know where to go…Then I found A Safe Place.
Other programs and services couldn’t (or wouldn’t) help me and my 6 week old baby.
I couldn’t keep living with him…we were so unhappy. He did nothing but emotionally abuse me. I was so broken, I didn’t even know how much harm he was causing to me, and my baby girl.
But, A Safe Place helped me realize both me and my daughter, deserved a better future. That we deserved a life without threats, swearing, or fighting. They were there for me when I thought no one would be.
